My Prom Shoot and Collaboration with Verity Moonshine

Had a great shoot with my new friend /photographer Verity Moonshine aka Jasmine Crosby.  (check her out) She was just lovely we were doing a prom shoot in natural light as I normally uses studio lighting or strobes ! I was wanting some tips on how to shoot in natural light and some practice doing so .

I was contacted by my friend Trish to do a prom shoot with her and her friend Jaclynn outside so I thought to my self what a great clab opportunity to work with jasmine crosby .
So a few days later we did that shoot got  bunch good pictures and some tips to boot!

Tip 1.  Adjust your focus point to focus on your subjects eyes .
Tip 2.  Watch out for your backdrop so nothing distracting  take your focus away from your subject.
Tip 3. Be constantly aware of where your  light/sun is.
Tip 4. Texture rocks haha! play around with your scenery!
Tip 5. Collabs are fun and you get back up photos in case yours suck :}

It was fun and I made a new friend from it or even two as her hubby was pretty cool as well haha.

So as you see those are some of the things I've learned above!
It was all in all invaluable experience! Here's a few photos from the shoot if you want to see more check out www.myspace.com/tommylandrum420
